Confession time: I strive to live in the moment and for that reason I’m not the quickest at replying, or posting. Simply because my pet peeve is being on my phone when I’m surrounded by others, unless it’s an absolute necessary. Whether it’s my husband, daughter, family, friends, or strangers, I choose to show my love and respect for their presence by actually being PRESENT, and engaging with them in the moment. Creating fun and memorable memories. I love my phone, I love how it connects me to a whole world of people, and not to mention the amazing pictures it takes of my precious family but I hate my phone.
I hate the pressure I can feel from it being near me. The pressure to answer that call right away, reply to that text before the next one comes in , respond to social media comments/messages, snap that perfect picture and so forth...It feels like we put such high expectations on ourselves these days because everything is so instant. It’s pretty crazy to think that at one point we were all writing letters to our loved ones, and patiently waiting for their response to arrive via mail...our relationships were probably richer than ever. Anyone else have the same love hate relationship with their phone?

February 1st, 2020 we welcomed to this world Gabri

February 1st, 2020 we welcomed to this world Gabriela Nicole Salvatierra. Almost 4 days old and she has already stolen our Hearts and our sleep lol 😭thank you to everyone who has reached out and messaged us, We apologize for not getting back to your messages, our phones were off for most of our stay at the hospital and at home have been on do not disturb since we have been trying to be present in these precious moments and also cherish the few moments of little sleep we can get. We appreciate your patience and just know we will get back with everyone as soon as we can, but We just wanted to share a few photos of our newest member and let everyone know baby is well!
